In the blink of an eye… my eye,
time magnifies one second to infinity…
Suspended in motion, the color of creation intensifies 100 times
And the air assumes the scent of a sea of lilacs.
With the vision of 1000 eyes I see…
Enlightenment…
Within your smile.
My heart beats… no longer the rhythm of remorse,
But the stroke of serenity… and it is a mystery to me…
A smile sanctioning the magnificence that is of God
integrated with the imperfections of humanity.
Nevertheless, I become, but a solitary grain of sand
And your ocean moves me and soothes me with comforting currents, and tropic tides…
To the point of tears…
And then you become the sunshine
Whose sun rays wash the wings of a million rainbow parakeets in flight.
I can feel it… Rejuvenating my spirit
A breath of fresh air
Like the gentle summer breeze
You fill my lungs with new life
As I inhale…
My spirit screams deliberate delight
Because I perceive the rest of my life
In your eyes.
And then… Time stabilizes
And motion resumes
But my mind lingers on your smile…
And then you approach me
And you say Hello.
